Our Mission and Goal as a "Catholic Family-Oriented Organization" is to assist the Knights of Columbus Councils in supporting our Bishops, Priests and our Catholic values.
CO State Ladies Auxiliary HISTORY
The State Ladies Auxiliary was Chartered on July 18, 1976. For the first two years, the auxiliary had a liaison to the Knights. Anna Mary McKinney served as the liaison in 1976, Claire Cavanaugh was the liaison person for the auxiliary in 1977. The first president was Anna Mary McKinney elected in 1978 The logo was created by Sylvia Garcia of Auxiliary #4079 of Aurora and gifted to the CO Knights of Columbus State Ladies Auxiliary on February 1, 2010
A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION
Offering financial contributions on behalf of the Auxiliaries to worthy charities. Organizations throughout the state are recommended by Auxiliary members to be recipients of our charitable causes
Creating opportunites for Spiritual Growth. A day trip for prayer at the Stations of the Cross in San Luis, and other prayerful retreats, provide spiritual enhancement for the heart, mind and soul.
Providing social enrichment for our Ladies. We share our time and talents with other members of the Knights of Columbus extended family.
